Infant and Toddler Class
From the time they are born, infants and toddlers are naturally curious and learn through social interactions and experimentation with the world around them. Our mixed age Infant and Toddler classroom allows children to learn through natural social interactions with children younger, older, and the same age as themselves, along with engaging and supportive adults who truly care for their wellbeing and educational development. To ensure the safety of our youngest infants and allow for freedom of exploration for our busy toddlers, this class has a low ratio of 1 to 2 or 1 to 3 teachers depending on the age range present. There are never more than 3 children to 1 teacher regardless of the age range or time of day and children are always kept with their primary group of children and teachers.
​3-5 Year Old Preschool Class

As your child transitions out of toddlerhood and gains confidence in their abilities, they will transition as a group into our 3-5 Preschool. Here they may have the opportunity to meet new classmates, as the ratio increases to 1 to 5 at a maximum, and many times, we combine Infant and Toddler groups to encourage social skills as the children show an interest in developing these skills. Our 3-5 year old's can often be seen investigating science and artistic interests in the art and science lab or exploring the great outdoors on the playground. If you stay for story time, you may even meet a few talented playwrights in the making as our preschoolers practice developing storylines, dressing up as characters, and acting out their stories for their classmates. Every day in preschool is a day for imaginative learning and our teachers are skilled at fostering your child's potential.
6-8 year old School Age Class

Poppy Seed Preschool offers a small class size inclusive private Kindergarten through Second Grade for interested Poppy Seed Preschool families. Please contact us at the front office for more information.
